MVC-1000JMT1/MVC-1000JMT2电脑显示显微硬度计是采用精密机械和光、电、计算机专用软件相结合的新型硬度测试仪。它可用于测试维氏或努氏硬度，通过把测量的对角线值输入到本机一体化计算器，或通过把测量图象传递给计算机，从而计算出硬度值。
该机采用高倍率光学测量系统，目镜鼓轮一次读数。可测定钢、有色金属、IC薄片、薄塑料、金属薄片、涂层、表面覆层、层压金属、热处理碳化层和淬火硬化层的深度与硬度梯度。
